Figma for the works on the route; Node.js and Python for the build; ImageMagick, Potrace and FFmpeg for the pictures, letters and films; Playwright for checking every screen; Lenis — darkroom.engineering (MIT licence) for the smooth scroll. And the usual suspects: a kettle, a pencil and too many late nights. Guess which one did the most 🙂
Hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The grains run on my own WebGL engine, the sound is synthesised live in your browser, and there are no frameworks, no trackers and no tracking cookies.
Things to discover
- 01Part the grains Move the cursor, or a finger, through the name on the first screen.

- 04Switch the language EN / UA hands the page over in ink and keeps your place.
- 05Turn the sound on A calm score made live in your browser: water, soft pads and gentle bells.
- 06Type “ink” Anywhere on a page, outside the form fields.
- 07Hold the logo Rest the cursor on it for a couple of seconds.
- 08Type “comic sans” In the message field of the contact form.
- 09Make it pop A button in the footer that appears on some visits.
- 10Leave the tab Then come back and look at the tab title.
- 11Say hi Open the browser console and type hi().
